🌿 Arrival in Kashmir – Gateway to the Divine Journey
The yatra begins in Srinagar 🌿, a land of unmatched beauty and spiritual serenity. As pilgrims travel toward Sonmarg 🌄, known as the Meadow of Gold, the scenery unfolds into alpine meadows, flowing rivers 🌊, and towering Himalayan peaks 🏔️. This first day allows the body to rest and the mind to gently detach from worldly concerns. Sonmarg’s calm environment supports acclimatization and quiet reflection. 🚁 The Sacred Flight to Panchtarni

🚗 Drive • 🏨 Stay • 🌄 Scenic Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, guests are warmly welcomed by our ground staff and transferred by car to Sonmarg, approximately 100 km / 4 hours. The drive passes through picturesque landscapes of Himalayan valleys, snow-capped peaks, and pristine rivers. On arrival at Sonmarg, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and acclimatize to the altitude. Helicopter operations start at 06:00 AM (weather permitting). Guests fly to Panchtarni, base for the holy Amarnath Cave Temple. From Panchtarni, the 6 km trek to the cave is optional for walking pilgrims or can be done via palki/pony at own cost. At Amarnath Ji Temple, pilgrims perform Darshan of Lord Shiva, witness the Swayambhu ice Shiva Lingam, and offer prayers. After darshan, return trek to Panchtarni and helicopter back to Neelgrath, then transfer to Srinagar, reaching by late afternoon/evening.
